As we all know, gas prices are high and there isn't much we can do about that, but keeping your forklifts in top running condition can save you money by giving you increased fuel economy, reduce downtime for your forklifts, lengthens their service life and keeps them operating at peak efficiency.
The On-Site Safety and Service Program offers the following:
Preventive Maintenance
Compliance with OSHA Inspection File Requirements
Because forklift emissions can be harmful to workers, forklift engines are regulated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Forklift users are required to maintain inspection files for each machine in service. As your local OSHA expert, AmeriGas develops and maintains inspection files for your forklifts in compliance with OSHA requirements. We can also assist you with any questions or issues you might have with OSHA regulations.
Propane Safety Training
At AmeriGas, safety is our top priority. As the propane expert and your partner, AmeriGas trains your employees in the proper handling of propane. Our training covers cylinder exchange, on-site fueling and safety guidelines established by OSHA. The result is a safer workplace for you and your co-workers.
Repair Work (optional)
In addition to engine diagnostics and visual inspections, our On-Site Safety and Service Program offers repair services for your forklifts. AmeriGas can repair or replace any parts involved with forklift carburetion.
Reduced Emissions Technology (optional)
Reducing harmful engine emissions such as carbon monoxide (CO) is often a primary concern of forklift users. Forklift emissions standards are becoming stricter every year. By reducing emissions you ensure a safe environment for your workers while increasing the operating efficiency of your forklifts. AmeriGas can install Autofix emissions control closed-loop systems on your forklifts, allowing you to meet and exceed State and Federal emissions standards.
Great Value for the Money
The basic services above are available for an annual fee of $50 per forklift. Our optional repair and technology services are available for the following additional fees:
